Hey everyone just wanted to see if anyone else has gone through what I’m going through.

My son is 5 months old I have been only breastfeeding him. I have attempted to pump on many occaisons trying everything possible but I don’t even get 20 ml out of both breast. I have also had a breast reduction so it makes it even more painful to pump to only get less than 20 ml , it doesn’t make sense if I am able to breast feed just fine.

Has anyone else went through this ? Did you find a solution ?

Hey, I stop pumping at 6 weeks in because my nipples adjusted to the baby but not to the pump. After pumping my nipples would be crack , sore and hurt . So I stop pumping and I only breast feed.he is now 4 month old now . My son is gaining weight and is eating often and fast becauses he's an effective eater now and has a quick latch. Pumping I think is only for women who miss feeding and their milk supply is affected and goes down so they need to increase their supply with the pump. It's also for women to store milk but I realize that's increasing the chances of being more full and uncomfortable more often. Now my breast get full when he's hungry . I latch him on and he will drain and drink everything.
