So I have a question. I am a working mom who pumps at work my son is almost one in a couple of week. I would like to stop pumping at work when he turns one. Right now I am down to two a day and when I get home I breast feed him. If I just cut down to one session and then none by Aug mid August will my body still know to make milk. I nurse him through out the week when i get home including at night and all day Sat and Sunday.

Thanks jennifer

not sure if u still check this but u had the exact same question that I have currently so I was wondering how this went for u if u wouldn't mind sharing?-- I'm a full time working mama as well and also with that a part time pumper while away from my 10.5 month old son. This is my third nursling but my first with working full time 9 and 10 hr days 46hrs a week. I'm pumping while at work every few hours and everything has been going great ever since returning to work at 6wks old but I'm wanting to try to stop pumping at work but continue to nurse as usual while with my baby. Do u think it is possible to train my body to accommodate this? I want to very much continue to breastfeed and I understand I'm going to have to supplement while I'm way which I'm ok with but I'm just not ready to completely wean. Thank you very much in advance 🙂
